We had dinner on Sunday night there, we tried the Chicken curry served with Naan bread and the Lamb Sabzi served with rice. Both were absolutely delicious and the Sabzi was really something different and with a totally new flavour which I loved!! Good size portions and great and friendly service.We’ll be back soon, highly recommended!!!

Very flavourful Afghani food. Nice decor and lovely warm service. Went for dinner tonight and very glad to find such an amazing place close to home! Kebab plate had succulent meat and delicious rice. Naan by itself was so delicious. End your meal with their special tea and you wont regret.

Food was fantastic and above average. Dish was served only with bread. I'm glad I ordered some extra rice. Otherwise the portion wouldn't have been satisfying. Noting, I am not a big meal person.The waiter was nice but a bit slack. He let me sit for 15 minutes to choose my meal without looking at me once. I was ready after 5 minutes, but his mobile phone seemed to be mor important.Pricing I found a bit steep for what you get, but juuuust still acceptable.

My first time visit the restaurant and tried Afghan foodFood was absolutely amazing 5/5The kebab and beef mantu were juicy and well spices. Ambience of the restaurant is actually great. Definitely will get the food here again, but maybe order online then pick up rather then come in person.Give poor rating for the service tho. Seems like the waitresses are very very new, not aware of the food they sell. Needs to take my order multiple time and waited almost 40 minutes for the food, yet they serve the food for people who dine in first!. There's obviously a reason why I want a takeaway 🙄But the kitchen lady came and fix the situation

Be wary of my star allocation. The fact is overall I went 5 star, food i went 5 star. Those are the main attributes of a great meal and those are exactly what you get at Karwan. Amazing food. It was my 1st experience of Afghan cuisine and WOW!!! I'm definitely heading back. I went with 'safe' choices and can't wait to get back to try the currys' and kebabs!. The service wasn't bad, it was fine. Wasn't anything to complain about, just nothing to rave about either. There was quite a wait for the meal which leans itself to two different outcomes. 1 You can get annoyed and hungry or 2. You can appreciate you are not rushed and just enjoy the conversation. Either way the food is worth the wait. So I suggest if you're an Afghan food fan, line this place up. If you want to experience simple foods with plenty of taste and texture, then line this place up.

This is my first time here, and I love it!I’ve never tried Afghan food before, and this place really impressed me.The dumplings were flavorful—the marinated meat filling had a nice hint of herbs.I ordered the chicken kebab, and the chicken was tender and juicy, with a delicious marinade. The rice was soft, light, and fluffy. The dipping sauce was great. The portions were huge—I couldn’t finish everything! I also had the marinated lamb kabab, which was equally delicious.I tried their special ice cream, which had a unique flavor I had never tasted before. I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t bad either. The serving was quite large—definitely enough for two people.Overall, I really like this place and highly recommend it! The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the prices aren’t too expensive (around $20-$40+), but the quality is excellent. I’ll definitely come back!

First time ever tried Afghan food, surprisingly good and delicious. Thanks for sister introduced this located in Brisbane restaurant. Services and foods are excellent. The only comment is the lamb fried rice, the lamb meat with bone would look great if it was on top of fried rice rather than totally hidden below the rice.
